Barbara became a member of the Tollison Law Firm, P,A, in 1993. Her practice primarily involves litigation in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing-home litigation and premises liability. Barbara has litigated numerous medical malpractice and other personal injury cases in state courts across Mississippi resulting in significant recoveries for clients. She has also handled family law appellate cases.

Barbara graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi in 1990 where she was inducted into Pi Kappa Phi honorary society. Barbara graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1992 where she was a recipient of the Orma R. Smith Memorial Scholarship, a member of the Moot Court Board and the Phi Delta Phi honorary legal fraternity. Barbara is a member of the Mississippi Bar, the Missouri Bar, and the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association.
